This site is intended to keep the membership of our chapter informed and update to chapter activities.  Our chapter is always looking for new members to join the committee.  By adding new members, ideas are kept fresh and hopefully we will be a chapter you can be proud of.  If you would like to become a committee member or you just have a suggestion, feel free to contact any of the chapter officers.

2008 State Awards Banquet

On January 19th, 2008, the Ohio State chapter of the NWTF held it's annual awards banquet.  This is were the Ohio State chapter recognizes it's 92 chapters for their previous year's efforts.  For the last four years, I am proud to say, that the Y-Bridge Longbeards has walked away with some kind of award.  This year was no exception.  Our chapter won ribbons for the following criteria:  signing up 100 plus JAKES members at our banquet, 20 plus Woman In The Outdoors at our banquet and 100 plus members at our banquet.  These accomplishment could not have been achieved without the dedication of the chapter committee.  Local Zanesville Resident, Joe Mattingly received the Al Fabian, Oustanding Landowner award and  Bob Lowendick won the Oudoor Writer of the Year award.
